2. Compatibility
The App depends on device model, operating system version, local network configuration, Samsung TV firmware, Google Cast support, infrared hardware, and permissions granted by you. We do not guarantee that every TV, streaming device, app, firmware version, or command will be supported.
3. Your Responsibilities
- Use the App only with TVs and devices you own or are authorized to control.
- Keep your phone, TV, and network configured securely.
- Do not use the App to interfere with another person's device, network, media playback, or TV settings.
- Do not reverse engineer, abuse, overload, or attempt to disrupt the App or related services.
4. Permissions and Device Access
The App may request or use permissions needed for internet access, local network discovery, Wi-Fi state checks, multicast discovery, infrared transmission, casting, selected local media, support email, sharing, app review, analytics, crash reporting, advertising, and subscriptions. If you deny or revoke a permission, some features may be unavailable or work only partially.
5. Premium Subscriptions
The App may offer premium access, no-ads benefits, advanced controls, or other paid features through Google Play subscriptions managed with RevenueCat. Available products may include weekly, monthly, yearly, trial, or other subscription options shown in the App or Google Play at the time of purchase.
Subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled according to Google Play rules. You are responsible for managing, cancelling, or changing subscriptions through your Google Play account or device settings. Refunds, billing issues, and cancellation timing are handled under Google Play policies. Premium features, pricing, trial availability, and included benefits may change over time, subject to platform rules and applicable law.
6. Updates and Availability
We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the App at any time. Some updates may be required for compatibility, security, or continued operation. The App may fail to operate when third-party platforms, Samsung firmware, Google Cast behavior, app stores, or network conditions change.
7. Third-Party Services and Devices
The App may interact with third-party devices, operating systems, app stores, analytics, crash reporting, advertising, subscription, billing, and casting services. Those third parties are responsible for their own products, services, terms, and privacy practices. Samsung, Android, Google Play, Chromecast, Google Cast, and other brand names are used only to describe compatibility. The App is not affiliated with or endorsed by Samsung, Google, or other device manufacturers unless expressly stated.
8. Privacy
Our collection and use of information is described in the Remote Control For Samsung TV Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
9. Intellectual Property
The App, website content, design, code, and related materials are owned by IVIK LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the App for personal, lawful purposes.
10. No Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, compatible with every device, or suitable for a particular purpose.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, IVIK LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, device functionality, media access, network availability, purchases, subscriptions, or profits arising from your use of the App.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
